MicroChips earning some chips

There have been debates over the years of weather or not micro chips for human beings would become a reality in our life time. Some people argue that it's just a conspiracy theory, others believe that it's essential for humans to be chipped in the name of security. Take the examples in Mexico in which people are chipping themselves in fear of being abducted due to the escalating violence which has been taking place over the recent years. Then we have the announcement that the Shares of VeriChip Corp have tripled since it's been granted an exclusive license to two patents, which will help it to develop implantable virus detection systems in humans. Now with the media bombarding the masses with fear of the H1N1 virus, VeriChip stated that the patents, held by VeriChip partner Receptors LLC, relate to biosensors that can detect the H1N1 and other viruses, and biological threats such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. The technology will combine with VeriChip's implantable radio frequency identification devices (RFID) to develop virus triage detection systems.

The triage system will provide multiple levels of identification -- the first will identify the agent as virus or non-virus, the second level will classify the virus and alert the user to the presence of pandemic threat viruses and the third level will identify the precise pathogen. Shares of VeriChip were up 186 percent at $3.28 Monday late afternoon trade on Nasdaq. Speaking of money, imagine living in a world with a cashless society in which the currency of the world is electronic. Don't you think that physical money is important and necessary in regards to freedom for human beings?
